New School

Hey guys it's been a while huh? Anyways, in the past 3 months my family and I have packed up and moved to Waupaca, Wisconsin. I REALLY far move from my previous town in Chelan, WA. Since then I have met some really cool friends but i still miss my other best friends back home, because no one here could ever replace them. So even with my new friends here, I still feel lonely. My Grandfather also passed away a few days ago, which was a really devasting thing to happen since we were just about to go visit him after 2 years. I got a cold, so thats nice, being sick is miserable. It's also my mothers birthday today, we are gonna celebrate it with my grandma (who is not heart stricken with grief because she had a bitter divorce with my grandfather many years ago and hasnt forgiven him since). My friends back home have been very nice though. They help me out a lot with my problems as i do with them. I really hope I get to visit them in school next year! I have prodouced about 25 more songs and posted them on my youtube channel, so go check it out! We have to live in our little cabin for now, since our offer on the house we want is still pending...hopefully we get it. I've been trying to remain positive, it sure is hard, but i know i can do it. Winning the Talent show!

OK. I was super nervous i thought i would mess up so bad. I walked out there after some kid did some disgusting ASMR where he just ate food into the mic. Anyway, i walked out there right? My friends immediatly cheered and yell "I love you". I started out singing soft but there was a delay from the speaker to me so in my mind i sounded a bit off. As soon as i hit my first long high note the audience cheered and, get this, TOOK OUT THEIR PHONE FLASHLIGHTS 😆 and waved them in the air! I kept hitting my high notes and each time i did, they cheered more, i was really nervous fro the audience because it was the WHOLE highschool (like 500-600 ppl)😅 and they were forced to be there before lunch. Plus the person i like was sitting in the third row sooo....yeah. BUT i didnt mess up once, my song was "Not About Angels" and SO many ppl came up to me telling me they got goose bumps and chills and some of my friends ACTUALLY cried. I hit my last high note, higher i had ever sung in stage before and they audience just screamed,it was soooo cool. When they anounced that i won first place and handed me a bouqet of roses, I almost cried.😢 (had to hold it in, ya know?) All my friends (including the person i like, which is my friend btw) were smiling and clapping and giving me hugs and high fives. It really was THE. Best. Moment. of my LIFE. I never thought i would ever win it, i was a freshman, the only freshman winner in the whole competition, my other friend also competed, we were the only freshman there lol (shout out to @Natalie Jenkins) It was great.❤😄

Whatever

Whatever happens. If i leave and you stay, and if the lights go dim, i might cry, years after years and years, but i think ill be fine. Whatever happens, if we are gone after a week or if we keep in touch until the end. I will be grateful thankful and happy you happened to stumble into our circle of friends. Songs I write now could never be the same anymore when i'm gone. Maybe its a good thing. Maybe not so much. We never know. Maybe we never will. You gave me all the happiness i could ask for and all the strain i could never want. I hope your life is good as much as mine.
